Kurt Cabral is engaged in corporate practice, tax, litigation and project development. His corporate practice involves incorporation, corporate structuring, contract drafting and negotiation, due diligence and monitoring compliance with various government regulatory requirements.
Mr. Cabral addresses queries on tax issues affecting individual and corporate taxpayers and handles administrative protests and applications for tax treaty relief before Philippine tax authorities in the national and local fronts. His litigation practice ranges from civil, criminal, labor and land registration cases to corporate disputes.
Mr. Cabral has extensive experience in the field of property, more specifically land acquisition and land registration, as well as project development for various corporations. He is currently working on a pioneer concept for renewable energy which will address the demands for electricity in the islands of the Philippines.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cabral served as Legal Consultant to the Assistant Secretary for Procurement of the Department of Transportation and Communications and the Department’s Legislative Liaison Office, where he handled Bidding and Procurement and attended various hearings in Congress and the Senate where he provided inputs and comments on pending legislation.
Mr. Cabral is a member of the Philippine Bar, and the Makati City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
