Our senior partners formally launched Tantoco Villanueva & De Guzman Law Offices, also known as Tavidell, on 22 September 2003. They were brought together by a single vision to develop a law firm that has expertise in the diverse fields of practice, catering to all sectors and competently addressing the multifarious issues in an ever-changing local and international legal environment. It is our resolve not simply to counsel, but to partner with our clients in creating innovative legal strategies to drive inclusive and sustainable development, providing frameworks on risk assessment, allocation and mitigation. In realizing our vision, we are equally committed to provide legal aid, so that those who have less in life would have more in law.

We hope to achieve our vision not only through relentless and constant in-depth training and actual transactional involvement of our lawyers and staff, but also by harnessing their personal and professional growth through meaningful teamwork and institutionalized feedback mechanisms.

For more than 15 years, we have represented both domestic and international corporations in transactions involving a wide array of complex legal and regulatory issues in corporate restructuring and rehabilitation, mergers and acquisitions, public-private partnerships, project development and finance, securitization, energy (including renewables), infrastructure and water, land acquisition and registration, construction, arbitration, and litigation, among other practice areas. From just four lawyers and one staff member in 2003, we now have a complement of 15 lawyers and 16 staff personnel, and are currently in the process of expanding our workforce.
