Election

We render services to clients during elections to ensure that the requirements of the Omnibus Election Code are met.  These services include troubleshooting legal issues that arise before, during, and after the conduct of elections.  We assist clients in the filing of their certificates of candidacy, registration of party-lists, act as legal officers for them, and undertake general supervision and instruction of poll watchers during election day.

We acted as counsel for one of the consortium members which participated in the bidding for the election automation project of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for the 2010 presidential elections.

In 2015 and 2016, we assisted an organization of marginalized and underrepresented individuals in successfully registering as a party-list organization before the COMELEC.  We successfully handled the preparation and filing of their petition for registration, and appeared and represented the organization before the First Division of the COMELEC.

The individual members of the firm have personally handled legal and paralegal work for various clients both before and after their entry into the firm, giving them first-hand experience in the conduct of elections, as well as in the prosecution and defense in election protests.
