Among our clients are companies engaged in the construction, development and/or operation of major tollway and water and sewerage facilities in the Philippines.  We provide legal advice on existing laws and regulations on tollway and water projects, draft and review toll concession/operation agreements and other key project agreements (such as operation and maintenance and toll collection agreements for tollway projects), advise clients on regulatory aspects of the grant and operation of water concessions, and process water permit applications and renewals.

We represented and advised two major tollway projects on various project and financing matters, which also involved the drafting, review and negotiation of several contracts required for their commercial operation.

We have been advising Maynilad, MWSS’ West Zone concessionaire, on water rate adjustments and other regulatory issues since 2003. We also currently represent the company in cases filed against it with the Supreme Court relating to issues on its concession agreement with MWSS. We have also been advising clients on local water projects.
